About

Chris Colgan has been working in Photovoltaic Power Generation for 25 years. He began his career at AstroPower in Newark, DE, manufacturing PV modules. He continued that work with GE Energy when they took over the AstroPower site. For the past 7 years Chris has been an independent solar installer. He is experienced in commercial and residential system design and construction. Chris is certified by NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners), the leading organization for professional solar installers. He completed the IREC installation and design course in 2010 and is an approved installer in the PA Sunshine Program. Colgan Solar has installed over 1,000,000 watts of PV power in Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Chris has a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Delaware Tech.
